Committing to the process taught by the helpers at Sydney Meditation is the best thing I have ever done. It has been extremely beneficial to me in terms of my personal #happiness, health and perspective and has improved my life greatly even though I have only been going for a few weeks. I am very excited to continue the practice and would recommend it to anyone. The community of people that go to the centre are very welcoming, supportive and easy to get along with. Overall a
Sydney in #Australia like other Modern cities, is fast paced, busy and demanding. The inhabitants bustle about from one place to another, with barely enough time to stop for a medium cappuccino. #Sydney, especially reaches fever pitch in the holiday seasons, such as Christmas, when frantic shoppers descend on the city centres, amassing bundle loads of gifts, to fulfil their family obligations. Life sure can feel stressful, when there is not enough time to even stop and think.

How lucky we are in #Sydney to have a Meditation Centre located in the midst of our city. It is a Centre that Meditators regularly come to and is often visited for periods of several days on end, by those who live in more remote locations. Over the years the Centre has attracted many people from interstate and even from overseas. For those who visit the Centre, they find a great comradery in others and have the opportunity to converse with members, who have been #Meditating f
When I started this #meditation, I only wanted to be relieved of #stress. I was not searching for the #meaning of life. However, the more I meditated the more peace and freedom I experienced and as I emptied my mind there was space for the truth to enter. As the #truth cleansed my mind, I became more interested in the big questions, such as: Why am I here? Who am I? What is the purpose of life? Enjoy listening to Helen, she is a meditator from Sydney Meditation who has medita
As a dog lover, when my friend asked me to look after her two dogs for two weeks, while she was overseas, I did not hesitate to say yes! So, for the following two weeks, I was getting up a bit earlier than usual, to feed them and take them for their walk. Having the two furry guests over, who were simply happy to be around, it was thoroughly enjoyable. Towards the end of the first week of feeding them, taking them out and playing with them, so they didn't get bored, suddenly
I know this will probably sound a little odd, but for me Meditation has been quite an #exciting experience. Why? You might ask. Well the actual practice of #Meditation is far removed from the boring stereotype, of a cross legged Zen master sitting in silence, like a something of a statue, for months on end. The practice of Meditation is in fact an #amazing and #insightful journey into the discovery of who we really are and into uncovering the actual reality we exist within.
I’d been doing other forms of meditation for years which only provided temporary relief to my everyday stress. I always felt like I needed something more. Something more healing. When a friend from the UK introduced me to this method of subtraction, I was ready and so grateful this meditation exists. This meditation actually helped me to witness my ego, my core issues, and really see what my human mind is. When I started doing this meditation regularly, I was finally able to
