Meditation Main Centre in South Korea

Recently I spent some time at our Main Centre in South Korea.

Nestled in the mountains there are stunning views from every window

It’s a place where people come to reflect on their lives and lay down their burdens to find true meaning.

Some come following a curious urge and others to continue a practice they began at home, something that has already found a foothold in their hearts.

The experience itself is simple but profound. Free from the distractions of everyday life you can focus fully.

Meanwhile every physical need is thoughtfully cared for.

You are served with such warmth, joy and sincerity that you naturally begin to see your self-centredness more clearly - and that honesty is where change begins.

Small details leave a lasting impression.

After enjoying a delicious, freshly prepared balanced meal you leave your dishes to cheerful smiles and grateful voices calling “kamsamnida” (thank you).

These gestures remind you of the kindness and generosity that make the Centre feel like home.

I met people from all over the world. We shared our struggles and joys, and I discovered how deeply supportive it is to walk this path together.

I noticed for people who were struggling that there was always someone ready to listen, consult and guide the way of letting go.

And through that process I began to see something both surprising and familiar: that the Universe is not distant or abstract but a real, eternal, living existence. It loves us just the way we are and only wishes for us to be happy …. and to know that we are never alone.

Thank you.
